TV commericials

I have a TV that has AVL - automatic volume leveller - have a look in your menu for it - it makes the ads the same volume as the show you are watching - I love it, it is an old Philips TV, and I will not move it on until I can get one with this feature. As for ads not for kids - it is movies and DVDs and ABC for Kids until bedtime in our house now.

The one that drives me the MOST batty is the commercial for NovaRing (I think that's the name - it's a birth control device). The commercial starts with a voice saying "Are you tired of your current birth control method?" NO, BUT I AM TIRED OF THIS #$%^& COMMERCIAL!" Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, blah blah blah. This is the one with the women in yellow bathing suits.
The latest version is even worse. A group of young women are sitting around talking, the tv is on, and one woman says "SHHHH- I love this commercial"! Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, blah blah blah. The funny thing is, if all these women have to do is sit around watching commercials, they probably don't need to worry about birth control devices. (Ooops, did I say that?)

We mute also! The SONIC commercial!! Those 2 "sweet" guys drive me insane! The insurance commercial - what in the world is that LUMP on the top of her head?? and the wimpy guy that says" what if my mother won't let me drive?" Oh definitely the shouting guys at Staples!! Who in the world thinks of the most irritating commercials?? They all tie! There IS one we LOVED and laughed each time - lets see if I can remember what they were pushing --------- But 2 kids are shoveling snow and the husband says, "I'm not going out there" as he is drinking hot coffee!1 hahahahahahahahah

I really dislike political commercials. They are really getting bad. I think they should be limited to just 2 weeks prior to the election.
Next would be all the medicine ones. If I can decide what I need to be taking, why do I need the doctor?

I have 2:
1) March of Dimes - that "baby won't stop crying" commercial. They have babies crying in the background almost the entire time - what is more annoying than a baby crying. And why is it on so often. Shouldn't they spend less money on advertising and more on helping babies?
2) Milk for Health - "milk times three is good for me" (or something to that effect). At the end they have this little boy trying to say it and he can't. That kid annoys the heck out of me.
I'm not fond of kids - can you tell? LOL

Victoria Secrets! I just don"t think we need "close to porno" ads. I raised three boys, and they are curious enough without having bodies like that shoved at them. Heck, they never saw mom in anything less than a robe. And hey, I'm not a prude!! And, the ad for KY gel enhancer. ( Well, maybe if that one had been around years ago??? LOL)
