No, I don't watch much tv during the daytime. I either like the silence or play some old country music. However, DH does watch tv during day and I can hear whatever he is watching (in fact, if we had neighbors, they could hear it too).

I do have the tv on while i'm working. I don't have cable, but got dvds and netflix, so do a lot of series marathons. It's mostly white noise for me, but I do love documentaries, music concerts like Celtic Woman, etc.

Since I hand piece and hand quilt I sit on the couch in the evening and sew. We watch every goofy reality show ever invented! And we love watching shows where people are working...Project Runway, Hells Kitchen, American Pickers etc..

Either silence or CD in the player. Whether I'm listening to some easy listening stuff or rocking out as I pin a quilt for sewing.
I sit in front of the tv at night but even that is usually background noise while I'm on the internet

I have the TV on if I knit, but in my sewing area I don't because the sound of the machine is enough to distract me from hearing the TV. The TV in that area is there for the treadmill. I have tried, but I find that I don't pay attention and also I don't sew with my glasses on and couldn't see TV without them.
