Default Ugly Sweaters

how do you stand on them? I just bought one from Walmart. it has a cat on the front, so of course I had to buy it. He has a Santa hat and a pompom. So were do you stand. do you like them or hate them. Should I bring it back and get my money back? or, should I wear it for the holidays? what would you do?

If it makes you smile, then wear it. It doesn't matter what others think. Where do I stand? I'd wear one if I found one that I liked. I'd also wear a truly ugly one just to see reactions.

Most are rather tacky, in my opinion. When people wear them, and I don”t know if they”re being serious or joking, I don”t say anything.

Irishrose, I love the comments too. if it makes someone smile, good.
I guess i'll keep the sweater, and to boogers to them. It was only
$20, whereas a lot of them are much higher priced.

At work we do an ugly holiday sweater competition, which is really funny. People glue and stitch all sorts of crazy things to sweaters in an effort to win. (The prize is just bragging rights, and your photo emailed out to everyone.) A couple years ago, the winner did a sweater with a Christmas Tree made out of glued-on cigarette butts that she had "harvested" from the employee smoking area. I think it was truly the ugliest thing I've ever seen! (Didn't smell so good, either - she had to take it off after awhile, people were complaining!)

I don't participate - ugly sweaters aren't really my thing. But I like seeing what sort of insane things people are doing with theirs. It's always good for a laugh.

Ugly sweaters outside of work seem really tame and dull by comparison. I'm not sure I'll ever see a sweater that can compete with the cigarette butt tree!

I think they are a hoot. They have to be comfortable though, I don't like the ones that have a stuffed animal on the front and back. How do you sit on a chair with a lump in your back?

I think your sweater sounds very cute! I don’t have a fun sweater, but I do have Minnie Mouse ears with a Christmas bow. Life is too short not to take fun where you can find it.

I'd trade it in for some fabric
