Amazing how people don't realize sales like those keeps them in a job. Nothing fancy about me, I always thought I would enjoy working in a fabric department, too late now, I returned June 2nd. I've bought close to that much fabric at a time, I usually buy 4 - 10 yd. cuts, or rest of the bolt. Where I have bought fabrics the lady is much older than I am and she never minded at all.

What difference does it make if you cuts for one person or 20 people she is still selling fabric, and she can call for help they do it all the time in our store.

DUH!! The saleslady should NOT even fuss at the amount of fabric to be cut. It is only one person or could be 10. They NEED to think of it as "JOB SECURITY" I'm just sayin!!

Good for Her and you!! Nothing like making a trip a bonus trip, from whats said here about the price differences from here to there, should be some duty free shops in the airports, not so much for liquor and the normal items but fabric. :)

With a purchase that big, they should have offered to carry it to the car, instead of grumbling at her. Don't they know how their salaries are paid????

The lady behind the counter gets paid to cut fabric, so for her I have no sympany; however, I would hate to be one standing in line behind Tessa waiting my turn to get fabric cut.
