Thanks for the baby compliment. He just had his first visit(this A.M.) to the pediatrician since leaving the hospital. Not even a week old yet. Doc says he's doing very well. He's a nursing baby so he's lost some of his birth weight, but that's normal. We're all smiles around here.
As for the piper. He's not my DH. He was playing at a dinner we attended where the writer, Alexander McCall Smith, was the guest speaker. I love the pipes & drums, so I had DH take this picture of myself and the piper. He was really great! My family is originally from a small town in Nova Scotia where there's a lot of this stuff, so I guess it's in my blood.

So glad Mom and Baby are doing well. He is a big boy, it doesn't surprise me that she had trouble. So happy for you all.

Bev,

Thanks for explaining the picture with the piper. There are many pipe bands in Florida, so I hope you get to enjoy the music frequently.

Enjoy your new grandson!

No invitro or whatever, just let nature take its course. DD & hubby are ecstatic! So am I!!
Our grandchildren share the same birthdate!! Our youngest daughter gave birth on Friday to a sweet little girl!! Amberlyn was born at 7:43 AM weighing 6# 10 1/4 oz and 20 " long.
