Hear Ye, Hear Ye, Hear Ye!

August 2nd of 2010 will most likely mark the start of a new chapter in most of our lives this year. We are not going on a diet. We are beginning a trek through the maze of media frenzy to find out best and most healthy selves.

I would like to remind you of the 7 Ps principle. Proper prior planning prevents p*** poor performance. You need to plan your snack time for tomorrow. Is your yogurt where you can grab for breakfast? Do you have some carrots with peanut butter ready for the 10:00 a.m. munchies. Is your lunch made and sitting there waiting for you? What about something to drink ready and getting cold. Lemon slices in water works. That afterwork snack. Having it ready to go will help you stay away from everything that isn't tied down.

Oh sorry, i dosed off for a minute.

Now the really tough thing...(Yes there are things more difficult than resisting chocolate cheese cake, but not many.) Ladies, we have got to step up our game if we want to win this. Decide what, when and where to do the moving around.

Oh goodness. That sleeping pill did its job. I have to stop and go to sleep.

Gwyn,

Be sure and post a picture of all your fat quarters once you get them so we can enjoy them too. Pretty please!

Incentive for doing sit-ups:

Put M&M's between your toes!

Put a gallons' worth of water in your fridge first thing in the morning ( or just before bed the night before) everyday. Aim to drink the whole thing everyday. A lot of us don't drink as much water as we think and you'll be amazed at how your cravings for snacks, and your appetite diminishes. Being well hydrated can help you feel less tired in the afternoons as well. Did you know that your body gives a lot of the same signals for thirst as it does hunger? It can be easy to "miss hear" them.

17 3/4 yd of beautiful fabric...........that is certainly an incentive. I can't even imagine what that persons mailperson will think getting 73 envelopes of FQ's. It is like dying and going to quilting heaven. :D :D :D :D :D
So does that mean that if there is more than one winner, we have to send a fat quarter to each winner? How are you going to decide that? With 73 people playing there could be 3 or 4 winners. That means that we should have a few fq just in case?

What would happen it that case as I explained a few pages ago the FQ's would be split between all the winners.
