Cinnamon is also good for lowering blood sugar levels [no cinnamon rolls do NOT count--now why did I bring them up? Sigh...] One more thing, have you ever put cinnamon sticks in your water? Would heating a cup of water, letting the sticks sit in it then add to water and leaving in frig overnight work? I'm also thinking of combining the apple cider vinegar and cinnamon, gotta live dangerously sometimes! I'm back on my treadmill for 20 minutes and then walking with the dog for 35. The vet said she's 2-3 lbs over [I don't think she is and I've raised dogs all my life, but I don't want her to gain anymore] so we're both back on the street! 5 a.m. comes early, night all! Keep it up everybody, proud of you all!
I thought it was a rip off.

Fivepaws it probably is. A lot of the weight loss programs or experts are a rip off. They try to appeal to ppl like us in the hopes that we might be desperate enough to pay them money if we think it will work.

You have to remember that what works for one probably won't work for another. Basically we all have to figure out what works best for ourselves.

Carrie love your quilts and what a great alternative to snacking!
i bought one of those shake weights to use on my arms or else I am not going to need a plane to fly lol I used it last night and let me tell you I could feel it working. I am hoping it will cut some of my wings ;-)

I did a drastic change for my body. I was drinking one Dr. Pepper a day and now i am drinking none and 128 ounces of water...I believe this will make a great jump start on the 118 total I have to loose. My first goal is 14 pounds so let's see what happens.
    Hugs
    April

    Thank you.
Maybe I need to get one of those weights for my arms too. The flab can throw me off balance when I wave to someone. LOL!!!!
Oh yes, set those small goals they are easier to acheive and make you feel as if you have accomplished losing weght.
That's great that you managed to get off the soda's. I only drink Diet Mountain Dew, I refuse to give that up. I can't rob my body of everything I like.
    Good luck on your journey.
