What is "my Avatar?"

I keep reading that something is my avatar. I don't understand the meaning. Can you explain what that means?

Click on "my profile" link at the top of the page...once you are there, scroll to the bottom of the page - this is where you can ad 'your avatar'...it's a picture of whatever you want it to be.

Our Avatar is the picture that goes with our post. Mine is the Archangel Michael.

You don't need to have an avatar, but it's nice. As you look around on this site you see different inspirations, for an avatar.

Thanks....that's my boy, Biscuit, who just turned 5 yrs old and still eats socks and underwear whenever the chance arises :roll: Swallows them whole just to throw them up a few days later.

Awwww, Pedro is beautiful. I love cats, too, but Biscuit chases them and would probably mistakenly hurt one if he got a hold of it. He's not a "bad" dog (not a mean bone in his body) but he has been my challenge for dog training. He would have made a wonderful "drug sniffing dog" because his nose works so-o-o well and he is so-o-o enthusiastic about everything he does.

Here is Biscuit, all grown up. My other dogs are all well behaved and don't eat socks, although Vanilla and Sasha eat poop!
