Your garden is stunning!!!!!! The snow, not so much. I usually get excited for the first measurable snow, (do I have to put my flip flops away now???)

I thought of your garden when I went outside yesterday. Our snow was largely melted, though there was still some on the trees, bushes and grass. I noticed that any flowers touched by the snow were wilted and dead.

BUT...

Interestingly, one neighbor has geraniums in a planter on her porch, which is covered by a little awning, and they're still blooming brightly! Another has impatiens in a hanging pot, and they're fine, too. I was amazed that they survived. Both plants looked like it had never snowed at all.

My goodness, your September picture looks like a picture in a magazine...so pretty! It's hard to believe it's under a blanket of snow now. Your flowers are just dormant. They'll be back next spring. You must really have a green thumb and a talent for gardening.
