I just got a call from my husband...he just bought me a new washer and dryer...Old dryer is 20 years old- washer only 10, but has many issues. Guess he decided it wasn't worth fixing the washer again...Told me that was my Valentine's present, Mother's Day and anniversary gift.....I'm happy!

Started off sooooooooooooooo angry with the Sewing Machine center that I WAS using. Found someone closer that will service my machine right away, and will custom make the plate I need to fit my new machine. I am happy, and so is DH, because he doesn't have to design it himself. Happy Day

Well, I was just discharged from the hospital today. Results: no heart attack; meds are messing up my stomach. Just quit taking it. Things should get better.

So glad to hear that your problem was a med reaction Emjay. That is certainly something to be happy about. Easy fix

Great news! Also, we talked to the financial counselor at the doctor's office and when DH does need chemotherapy, it won't cost us nearly as much as we thought it would. And to add to that, there is a financial aid program for people whose household income is less than $100,000. We fit well below that level. First time I can honestly say I'm glad we don't make a bunch of money...
Good morning! I'm glad you got good results from the Dr. My DH also has leukemia, (exposure to chemicals in the Military), and i know the relief that good reports can bring. I hope that all continues to be fine for ya'll. Fortunately, the VA covers my DH's care...chemo would have bankrupted us. Just know that you are in my prayers...You and your DH.
Thank you for your prayers, DianD. Both my DH and I appreciate it very much! He is doing okay still--we just got back from a quick trip to go see our new little granddaughter. So happy to have gotten to go finally. She was nearly 3 weeks old when finally got to see her and her parents. The trip was hard on both of us, but glad to have gone and glad to be back home again!
