Pajamas - my sons and grandsons loved getting them when they were little tykes.

A tote bag for legos and other toys. A travel bag that has storage for cars/trucks (small like hot wheels) and opens up into a little road/town. fun pillowcase out of boyish fabric, their favorite animal etc. A stuffed animal, sock monkey.

I have 4 grandsons and two sons. They have all enjoyed super hero capes. Huge hit for them. One thought he could fly with it on. Lucky for me he was just jumping of the chair to test it. Also Large pillows for the older ones to lounge on with boy prints. Body pillow size. That's just the most popular in my family. Enjoy your family!!!

If he likes to draw or color maybe something to hold his coloring pad coloring book, markers, crayons so that he can take them on the go.

Mine like pajama pants, long and short, with their choice of sporty/character fabrics, plus halloween costumes

For my grandson, I took light blue sweatpants and sweatshirt - bought a pair of undies the next bigger size and covered them with red fabric, a pair of men's red socks that came up to his knees - copied the Suplerman logo and sewed it on the sweatshirt - made a cape with an elastic neck band (actually the waistband from a pair of pantyhose) and we had superman! He wouldn't wear a coat over it because then maybe people would know that he wasn't the "real" Superman. Gosh, I love that kid!!!!!!!
