Yeah that would have been odd, how do you hold a knife when you don't really have thumbs? :? and then again, who would expect a cat to think about getting butter for his cornbread? I forgot until I was talking with my dh and he said he was just glad they only went for the butter and not the syrup packets.

My dog (a Sheltie) does not like to walk on slippery floors and when I tore up the carpet in my sewing room because there was hardwood underneath it took her awhile to finally come in. The funny thing is that when she goes to leave the room she doesn't like to go out head first so she will turn herself around (even if she's in the middle of the room) and back out the door while looking behind her on each side. I love to watch her.

These are truly the funniest I've read in a long time!

Okay - another Dasher story -- Dasher loves to chase bugs, whether they fly or crawl. One day in our Motor Home, Dasher was chasing some kind of flying bug. Finally the bug went up into the light fixture that is imbeded into the ceiling of the MH. DH picked up Dasher, and held him up to see the bug. Dasher whapped at the bug, the bug flew out and landed right between Dasher's eyes......Dasher freaked!!! He start fighting, screaming like a little girl, and got out of DH's hands. He ran back and forth thru the MH screaming the whole time trying to get it off. We laughed till I almost wet my pants....well, maybe I did wet them....I laughed HARD!

When our first Rottie (that's him in the picture) was a baby we took him to Cape Cod and let him play on the beach. It was May and no one was swimming yet. In August, we took him again. This time there were people everywhere and a little guard shack with a lady who told us that it would cost $9.00 to park. We only intended to be there for 15 minutes or so, and I thought that was bit steep. While the lady was still talking, my window started to go up. I turned to Jim and he was looking at me too. THEN I realized that it was Lieber who had his foot on the control button. It was as if he was saying "Forget it lady, My Mommy and Daddy will take me someplace else for free!".

Back when my kids were little, we had a great dog named Max. He was a Heinz 57, mostly border collie, the kind of dog with the hair all over his face so you can't see his eyes.

One Sunday morning I had taken Max with me to get donuts for the family. I had parked right in front of the plate glass window at the small donut shop.

As I was ordering my dozen, I heard people start laughing. I turned around, and there was Max sitting in the driver's seat with both his paws on the top of the steering wheel. Guess he was ready to drive me home!

Swallowed a baby bunny rabbit whole and then threw it up a few minutes later. It was gross then, but funny now. (The bunny was not alive when swallowed) Sorry. Dugan is a hunter!

Before I met my husband Kyia grabbed a turkey leg off the Thanksgiving Day Turkey.

Our Rottie Heidi was watching the Westminster Dog show on the tv and my mom got between her and the tv, Heidi got up and gave her a hip butt just to move her out of the way and went and laid back down. My mom said I guess she does watch tv! LOL

My now old man cat. (19) loved to steal pony holders from my DD. He would carry them and play for hours. Then he would get tired and we would find them floating in the water dish. One morning I got up and found a pony holder floating as normal, but it wasn't in the water dish. It was in the fish bowl where the goldfish USED to be!!!
