My DH feels the same way - except he thinks that about any shopping except for car shopping!

I always take mine because he buys me more than I would buy.

The first time I saw this picture I thought - Oh, that's where I left him! Except then I realized he never got out of the car.

Mine goes in with me. He went to the Paducah quilt show with me this week and bought more than I did.

awww- I have to say- at times I kind of wish mine would sit out there on the bench & wait- I've asked my hubby to stop by a shop when we were going somewhere just to pick up a package of needles or some other (one little under $10 item) and wound up spending over $300! he kind of goes crazy over fabric collections some times- often costs me lots (and yes, once in a while he pulls out his wallet---but still--- I generally already have a ton of projects going on & really wasn't there for *all that* I often try to make my quick runs to the quilt shop while he is at work-just to save money. traveling/vacations tend to really get crazy with him- because he figures I can not get (this) at home- so I better take advantage here...

I wish mine would sit on the porch also! He follows me around talking to me till I tell him to go away, then he finds batiks he want's made into Hawaiian shirts. I have made him one but he loves the brights.

My husband goes into the shop with me, asks where the car parts are, gets a laugh (usually) and then goes and naps in the car or listens to the radio. Works for us!
