I don't know how I forgot this, but another huge hobby of mine is singing karaoke. I have over 200 karaoke CDs and could probably host my own sessions. I found out early, most karaoke hosts do not have much of a selection of rock music. So, i ended up buying my own. I sing everything from early Deep Purple, Jethro Tull and Black Sabbath to more modern day Ozzy Osbourne, Creed, Nickelback, Seether and Shinedown. In fact, I just bough a new CD this week with Seether's Careless Whisper and Shinedown's Second Chance. My best song is Blue on Black by Kenny Wayne Shepherd. My favorite is Buckcherry's Crazy B**ch. I get a lot of requests from the ladies to do that one.

WHAT is that cabinet in your picture and where did you get it??? It looks like glass front doors with FQs in it.
Pam, I dropped you a PM. Or, the link in my signature will take you to photos and info about how it was made. :)

OMG, isn't Seether's cover of Careless Whisper wicked?

I also like Shinedown's version of Simple Man. Almost better than Skynyrd. Almost.
You know, the only reason I know some of these recent bands is because they cover the classics! It may have been long before my time (I was born in the 80s), but I pretty much only listen to classic rock.

My obsession is Scuba Diving but I don't get to spend as many hours doing that as I like right now!
I have been hooked on that for about 10 years and I love to take people out in the PNW from other parts of the country to see Octopus and Wolf Eels.
I took up quilting to make a baby quilt for a friend...it was a success even though very simple. I tried to make a dress and decided quilting was the way to go.
I enjoy quilting because I get to "build" things otherwise my house would always be in a state of remodel. I truly love to build.
Besides, with quilting, everyone loves blankies and to snuggle...so I am able to give a hug, snuggle and love to all who get a quilt from me.
I have other hobbies and things I like to do...these are just two of my favs.

I do the Lynyrd Skynyrd version of Simple Man and Pearl Jam's version of Last Kiss, both fairly well.

My DH and I were members of the "Kelp Krawlers" in Olympia when we lived there. We had a great time diving in Puget Sound and along the Olympic Peninsula. Yumm Octopus, abalone, crabs, fish, sea cucumbers. We would go camping for a weekend and hunt/fish for our food, it was great!
