I thought programs and commercials containing sexually suggestive and alcoholic consumption were supposed to be for late night! And McD's is now advertising more and bigger burgers?? What was all that about supporting good health?

I haven't seen them. I don't watch much TV, but I would not in a Taxi ever.

What irritates me is that when the commercials come on the volume goes way up. Irritating.

THANK YOU! I thought it was just me. I also hate the Viagra & Cialis (sp) ones. I should not have to explain to my 10 year old what E.D. is (and yes, I did have to do that)!
Exactly, my thoughts, way, way TMI. I just don't want to know.

What about the weight loss commercials where a 75 lb. woman has amazingly lost 150 lbs. thanks to......(insert diet product name here).

I find it ridiculous that they show these thin women in dieting commercials. No wonder we have teenage girls who are anorexic or bulimic.

Yes there was one showing in Canada that was so offensive that I wrote the company an email telling them that I would not use their product again after seeing the ad. I think lots of other people must have done the same thing, because I haven't seen that ad since. Let them know that you don't like their advertising.I can't stand those Charmin ads either!

I hit the mute button the second that they come on, but still have to watch so that I don't miss the show coming back. I think what irritates me the most is how often they come on. These people must have budgets in the millions. Sometimes it seems like they are on about 6 times an hour.

In the last few years they want us to sit in wheelchairs, lose weight, color our hair every day, sell our gold, and of course every third man on the planet has to take a pill before walking into the bedroom.
