They love snakes, and very shortly would make the place unpopular for the slithery, unwelcome guests. And I've heard from others that cats will kill a lot of them, though I'll admit that I've never seen that before.
I had a cat in Oklahoma that would kill snakes and put their bodies by the front door so we could see what a good hunter she was!
Have a cat that does this! Sadly they aren't always dead when we find them! Full of holes Yes! hiding under the planter, with a smiling meow on the bench.

Hmmm - I'd just have my DH wrangle them for me! He's a herpetologist at a local wildlife museum and works with them on a daily basis (not that I'd really like to have my house infested with them by any means!!).

I hate snakes. My son gets after me for killing good snakes. But to me there is no good snake.

I'm with you! I can't even believe I read this whole thread. I am just thankful that it was a link and not an attached picture.

I hate snakes also. One morning I got up and found a very small one in the master bath. My husband warned me about it as he left for work. Could of killed him LOL

I would run and never look back..I can handle seeing one or two but having a home infested with them? NO!!! Even after getting rid of them, I would always be afraid that more would come..
