There seems to be an increasing lack of morals in our society. People just aren't being brought up right anymore--no guidance, no discipline. It's sad.

Last month in our (very quiet) neighborhood we had 6 cars damaged by two guys trying to steal them. The excuse they gave: one of them's girl friend needed a ride to Ohio! They caused a lot of damage like yours to the ignitions and dashboards. Problem is, all these cars have car alarms and not one of them went off! At least they caught the guys but they don't have money to pay for all the damage they did. Question: what good are car alarms if they didn't go off on any of the cars?????

Sorry that happened. Glad they didn't get the vehicle and very glad you didn't walk up on them.

Remember though - Locks are for honest people!

I have an old car, and if anybody tried to steal it I would figure they were desperate for a car! Even so it would be a hassle!! I hope your insurance covers all your expenses! :|

Sorry about your car. I know it was a hassle but thankfully you were not harmed.

Sorry that happen to you. Glad it was not a car jacking. People want something for nothing. Stealing must be easier than working.

Locally there's one specific kind of car that's stolen from the big malls. When my friends' car was stolen, security said their junker would probably show up either nearby or very far away as junkers are only stolen for joy rides. The car was found on the other side of the mall (!) with a broken window. I don't care how young and stupid you are... the other side of the mall!?! Why bother?

The cops joked that "someone" had forgotten where they parked and tried to save face by breaking the window. :0D

Sorry about your car.
