What is your favorite old "saying"?
#82
When I would be hurt or angry at what someone did to me she would tell me not to retaliate but to, "Give the devil enough rope and he'll hang himself."
It usually turned out as she said and the bad guy was "found out."
The other good one - "Put a beggar on horseback and he'll ride it to death." This one I see happening a lot in our world today...

God won't give me any more to handle than what he and I can get through together.

Old saying that I thought was so funny.
So stupid he could'nt pour Pee(being nice) out of a boot if he had to turn it upside down to read the directions on the heel.
Children are suppose to be seen and not heard.
She's having a hissy fit.
