Have been a farmer and now semi- retired. Caterer for weddings, farm meetings and other groups for too many years. Gradually getting away from this also.
Now I sew and make quilts.

I'm a former County Extension Agent and retired librarian. I like working with fabric.

I got my degree in Accounting, took 6 months off to be home with the kids, and had a stroke in month 5, so I am officially unskilled. I have supported us with sewing a few times. I have made everything from doll clothes to wedding dresses. Spent a few years as a CSR.

Right now i'm just a homemaker. In my past life I was a warehouse worker and a grocery clerk/assistant manager.
I have a medical office specialist certificate/billing, codeing specialist that I earned in 07 but have never used because I can't get hired anywhere. Sadly I wasted months of hard work at school to get good grades. Oh and now i'm over educated and can't even get a job doing what I used to do.
Do I sound bitter? It is what it is.

WAS - Productin Manaager for a real cool company that made decorative wood products and decorative dolls. LOVED this job. ALL MADE IN THE USA! Then little by little we started importing components for our USA made products. Didn't take long and we didn't make any of it here in the USA. We imported all of it so I then moved into purchasing.... Eventually we sold out to another company, and that ended my dream job.
Current - Certified Nursing Assistant. Very rewarding HARD work, but very appreciated by the wonderful folks I help take care of. :)
Thanks for asking, It's interesting to see all the other posts because of you!
