My son wants to make movies. So I'm sending him to summer camp for month of July. He's studying filmmaking. So I will be playing taxi driver. August hopefully we'll sit back and relax in the pool!

I just got a job after being out of work for nearly 18 months. So I will be working this summer. I'll be quilting, too. My friends and I are making charity quilts with some fabric one of them received, so we are busy, but it's fun. Can't wait for Fall, my favorite time of year!

You can do it! When my son grad. from high school we flew into Denver, rented a car and started driving. We saw Mt. Rushmore, black hills, Yellowstone, Durango/Silverton, Grand Canyon, Bryce and Zion canyons and the Tetons, and then drove back to Denver. We did all this in 10 days. So that leaves you 4 days to drive back to Va.
We did this exact same route several years ago in 2 weeks, and that was in a truck camper which isn't as quick as a car... at least not when my DH is driving. Favorite for us was the San Juans in Colorado aka-Million Dollar Hwy: Ouray, Silverton, Durango  Enjoy and hang onto your eyeballs!

I am so sorry to hear about your sister. I hope you get some good time in with her!!! Hope the surgery goes well, I had my right shoulder "fixed" in November, it's tough not being able to use your dominant hand!!!!

Usually I make trip to Montana to visit my sisters, but this summer am recuperating from total hip replacement surgery. I plan on being back on schedule next summer. Meanwhile, I'm working on plans to make a T-shirt quilt for a niece's graduation. (She'll be a senior next year.)
