Went to Alberto's for pizza and a Greek salad. I'm lazy on Fridays . . . and Wednesdays and . . . any other time I can get away with it, I guess!

Grilled salmon, with a fresh basil and dill sauce. Grilled on cedar planks on the gas grill. Frozen green beans, hyped up with some toasted almonds and balsamic vinegar. Sage, Rosemary and Pumpkin orzo (fresh pasta from green market) lightly tossed with sea salt and olive oil. And a glass of dusky Chardonney from Argentina (a bit dryer and smokier than California wines).

When the kids were little I used to put a slice of bologna in a
cupcake tin, then add a whipped egg to each one. Bake until done. With a slice of toast it made a quick and easy brkfst on school days.

What a clever idea. Maybe even wisk some cheese into the egg? I must not have enjoyed my dinner since I'm getting hungry with every thread I read

I had some leftover chilli in the freezer, so I thawed it out and heated it up and poured it over a baked potato, sprinkled on some shredded cheese and a dollop of sour cream....easy peezy!
