i fight over what to make every night I never have any ideas and lets say no one around here is tossing out any ideas either.. .. However, Darling is a MEAT and potatoes guy.. We usually get 1/2 hog and 1/2 beef... IM so not complaining- grateful for a full freezer of meat, but, theres days when i wish i he was a vegetarian..
tonight is pork, side of fresh green beans, baked potatoes and a Chocolate Mousse Cake for dessert..

Any day of the week is some type of potato, veggie can only be peas (yuck), corn (boring) or beets (gag) with either chicken, pork, hamburger dish or the occasional steak. I love every other type of veggie and he doesn't. He is the poorest excuse for a farm boy I have ever met.

Asian chicken salad.. chicken sautéed in peanut sauce, spinach, romaine, mandarin oranges, celery almonds and angel hair pasta (with same peanut sauce) with a homemade sesame vinegarette dressing. Absolutely delish!!

I am fixing me a humongous salad with everything but the kitchen sink in it and am trying Newman's Sesame Ginger low fat dressing and then some buttered peas and Potato Gnocchi in Alfredo sauce. Very simple very easy. Lotsa work today. Edie Oh, almost forgot a glass of wine.

had this 2 nights ago. I cook extra spaghetti noodles and add a doz more shrimp, and use one package of Bertollis shrimp scampi frozen dinner. I sometimes cook more noodles than needed and freeze them for a later meal. I have tried other brands, but Bertolli is the best tasting. IMO.

I'm embarrassed to say I don't cook anymore, maybe twice in 2 weeks. Hubby does it all. And he shops.
I work part time, do all the house work( whenever) and all the gardening...and sew. I love being free of deciding everyday what to cook. (ps he's a more imaginative cook than I).
