does the fact that I was in the first woman's class to ever attend the USAF cryptographers class back in the early 50"s. They really didn't think women could keep a secret. Guess who was removed for blabbing about it in the PX. Right....a guy. lol....

When my DH and I were dating, we were talking to this guy and 3 gals about the show that was going to happen soon. Had no idea who these people were. They walked away saying they had to get "ready". They were the entertainment. Pat Boone and the MaGuire Sisters. We didn't get autographs.

My uncle was one of the first Penn State grads to be killed in WWII, and has a naval research facility, The Garfield Thomas Water Tunnel, named in his honor on the Penn State campus in State College, PA.

I walked right into Doris Day at May Co. in San Diego in 1966. She really does have freckles.

When my kids were young there was a kid's TV show in Boston and I took them to be in the audience. The music guest performers were, "Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince." Fresh Prince was Will Smith before he branched out into TV. They brought my DD up to dance with them. I brought the kids once more, but I can't remember the female music guest, although she is famous. Afterward we waited backstage for autographs.

My DS now lives NYC as a struggling actor. He has served a few famous people (when not acting), but darn if I can remember who.

I met a munchkin from the Wizard of Oz movie. Actually, she came up to me in an airport (in KC!! lol) and introduced herself and asked me to take a picture of her with her son and grandson with her picture. Then we chatted until it was time to board our flights.
