Mine are many. Fresh chocolate chips are really yummy. My other 2 favs are Parfait - which are made with walnuts but everyone calls them mini pecan pies and Schnecken - which is a rolled pastry dough with cinnamon and sugar both on the inside and outside.

Next favorite is Peanut Butter cookies

Whichever one is in my hand at the moment!

I actually LOVE what seems to be the most unpopular cookie ever - oatmeal raisin. Yum! I love it when they have cookie trays at work because everybody wants the chocolate chip ones and I can have as many of the oatmeal ones as I want! LOL When I make them at home, I add little bits of dehydrated apple to the dough, so it's an oatmeal apple/raisin cookie...sooooo good!

I love oatmeal raisin, I feel that i'm doing something good too.
coz we all know that oatmeal is good for you and then add some raisins
more fruit, how can that cookie be bad for you???

It's not a cookie but Baklava is my all time favorite, especially at Christmas time.

    Snickerdoodles

    Peanut butter, yum!

If we love them so much, why wait till Christmas? we need to indulge ourselves more than once a year. we deserve it.
Make it freeze it and take out a few at a time and bake them in the toaster oven. that's what I do. Treats all year.

Mine too! I love to use almond extract vs vanilla. Or instead of raisins i use dried cranberries.

I love my chocolate cookies that taste like brownies, also the PB cookies with no flour. Shortbread too, I add pecans and maple flavoring. And Blondie-squares with pecans. Since I have been making my own cookies, the storebought ones don't taste that good to me anymore. Even the Pepperidge Farm cookies are just "meh".

The cookie recipes I drag out at this time of year are oatmeal/raisin (I add walnuts), peanut butter, snicker doodles, no bake peanut butter/oatmeal, snow balls and if I get those done there are others that my family doesn't call for as much. But the more variety, the better!

I like pizzelles, but my Dad used to make a peanutbutter spice raisin cooking that was absolutely delicious. I'm not supposed to eat anything made with wheat flour, it's not going to kill me like some allergies, but I can get a little nauseous if I indulge .
