Where does your household water supply come from?
#21
I have well water - no filters or water softeners - great fresh water - I have lived for years out in the country and mostly had spring water - it does require maintenance - usually every few months you need to clean the spring box and check for rocks, critters, etc. When I go into town and turn on a faucet - it smells like bleach to me - I am fortunate that we have always been self sufficient - many years spent living off the grid - had solar and generator for power. I wouldn't have it any other way.

I live in town and don't have a choice but to have city water. I would rather have spring water. Our town doesn't put fluoride in the water and the kids get fluoride tablets until they go to school and then they get rinses provided at school.
