I like to make almost all of the gifts for Christmas unless there is something especially wanted by someone that I can not make. One year I was really busy and bought all the grandkids presents from the store and thought they would be thrilled with their presents and when all four of them opened their presents and I couldn't believe my eyes and ears. Some even cried because Grandma didn't make them a special present so now if possible I try to make each one of them something they can use. I especially love making toys, dolls and softsculpture and games and wooden puzzles. For adults I usually give knitted, crocheted or quilted/sewen gifts. I am always looking for quick and useful things to make.

I thought I was the ONLY one that had family like that!!! I used to do stained glass. Gave my son and DIL a piece that I had duplicated from the one I'd sold for almost $200.00. I never saw it in their house, saw it in the garage one time....and haven't seen it in years!!!!! Nope - won't be making gifts. Adults get a card, children get gift cards.

Every year I make an "ornamomento". Last year was red cardinals for my daughter's college. This year little fan ornaments using up my scraps. I need a pile of them to slip into greeting cards but they don't take much effort.

I'm making aprons for my sisters, I think mom will be getting a bow-tie tote, and a apron. Brothers will be getting lap quilts.

Since my husband will be home this year, he is going to experiment with biscotti recipes. The adults will get a selection of them, the kids will get books (always the teacher). I do spend a lot of time trying to find the perfect books to match their ages and interests.

Probably. I always plan to! Its all up to whether I have time or the money to get the supplies I need.
