Saw this and thought Don't those birds smell???? I mean think about it??? look at what they eat...eck.
In Missouri, it is against the law to kill a buzzard. I found this out because my son 15 at the time, shot one. It was a amazing shot, to say the least. But I mentioned it to the Game Warden and he smiled and said " THat's a against the law" OPPS But he also said almost every young boy has done it, because of the challenge. They are considered very valuable because of the job they do, cleaning up.
Also I can't remember if he said it smelled or not. ( and no ticket)

Here at my little peice of dirt there are red tailed hawks. I had some of my Chiuaua/terried mixs outside for the first time. Well i heard the screech/squeel, i started grabbing puppies, well the hawk grabed the so fast that all i could do is watch it fly off. Broke my wifes heart she cried and cried over that, now when i take puppies out i take a 12 ga shotgun,

None of them moved when I stepped outside. I felt like I was in Alfred Hitchcock's 'The Birds.' I thought twice about going to the end of the driveway but did. Not one of them moved or made a sound. I brought the cans up to the garage door and left them and high tailed it into the house. Strange, never saw anything like that before or since.
Now THAT absolutely gives me the heebee-jeebees!!

I felt so sorry for the babies. I would have been one of the folks trying to help round them up for poor Mama duck...
