I'll PM you the recipe. The apple mixture is similar but not quite the same for apple pie. There's a bit more sugar in the pie recipe and also some flour to help solidify the filling. I also use nutmeg. I'll send my measurements for the pie seasonings when I send the crisp recipes.

Ps150 Now I know you are close enough to me, so I'll bring the coffee. LOL, I am smack between Syracuse and Watertown and can drive to either one in about 45-60 minutes depending what area. About the same to Oswego, too.

I would love to bake things like that but DH is diabetic and I shouldn't tempt him. But then if he didn't eat it, I end up eating the whole thing, and that's not good either. LOL

Although the apples contain sugar also, you can make the recipe more "friendly" to your DH by using Splenda.
I have a friend who visits who is diabetic and I do that with all the recipes, even things like making blueberry jam, when she is here.
