You Tube on DVD
Doea anyone know if you can download the you tube videos onto a DVD? I really love the Missouri Star videos, but my sewing machine and computer are in seperate rooms. I would love to start a library of her videos. I'm not too puter literate.

Well, there are some Youtube videos on how to do this; however, judging by the comments under them, the methods don't work for every configuration. I did find this, which seems to be a free download:

Oops. Looks like dvdflick is not available for Windows 8 yet.

Also, try Googling "how to save Youtube videos to my flash drive" to come up with some other websites.

If you use Firefox, go to
Tools -> Add-ons
Click "Get Add-ons"
Up in the top right corner, there's a "Search all add-ons"
Type "DownloadHelper" and click search (the magnifying glass)
It will come back with a list, choose the one that says "DownloadHelper"
The current version I have is 4.9.21
and click Install.
Follow the directions it comes up with.
Once it's installed, to the left of your address bar - where it would say www.quiltingboard.com...... there will be a new icon, it looks like 3 balls - blue, red and yellow, and an arrow beside it.
Click on the arrow and choose a "version" of the video to save. I usually pick the 720 or the Medium version, they're usually the best quality. When you hover over the version you want to save, there's a flyout menu but ignore it, just click on whichever one you want.
Now it's going to ask you where to save it. Pick where you want to save it to and hit save. Now you can put it on an iPad or flash drive or DVD or whatever.
