Got me perfectly, North Central, sometimes confused with Canadian. That's a Yooper, for sure. Eh!

It didn't work for me. I was born and raised and have lived all my life in Oregon. They said I had a Minnesota accent.

That was great. I've lived away from my birthplace for so long, I feel like I don't talk like anyone. But it got me pretty much right. Something I've always thought was funny -- when we were first married, my husband asked me if I had a "pin." I said "a safety pin or a straight pin?" He said "a pin you write with." !! He's from Kentucky. I'm from Upstate NY. What a combo.

Two of my sons moved to Oregon a few years ago and now they make fun of my Philly accent. Now their words/vowels are more flat. They do sound clearer than me. Oh well!

The quiz was right on. Told me that I was from Philadelphia.

Apparently.
Me too, especially that New York City part. Traveling in California we were asked several times where in New York city did we come from, meaning which of the 5 boros. You can take the girl out of the city (Brooklyn in this case) but you can't take the city out of the girl, LOL! May in Jersey
