Cottage Quilts is on NE corner of Bullard and West. Wonderful store and she also has mail order, you should check it out online.

It is on Bullard and West in Fresno. The owners of the shop are Dave and Carolyn McCray and they are wonderful people.

Thank you for all the wonderful comments about the quilt. The person that won it didn't even buy the tickets, her sister did. She was very excited!! I am working on a painted Christmas table runner. I will post pictures when it is done.

I am originally from southern california. Born in Lynwood and grew up in Santa Fe Springs until I was 7.

Hi to everyone from Valley Center,CA. Three years ago my husband and son asked me what I wanted for Christmas. Knowing that my son would be starting school the following year.I told them I wanted a sewing machine because I had always thought that I would be the mom that would make the quilt for his teacher. I never had done any sewing before. My mom used to do quilts and I'm only sorry I did not pay attention to her quilting then, it's almost five years ago she passed away. I did get my sewing machine. Right away I got online and looked for free quilting patterns. I found one that I really liked. It was the attic window. Sinced my mom really enjoyed birds and flowers, that was what I used. I gave the quilt to my aunt. Only wished I could have given it to my mom. I did the quilts for the teachers, my son had two his first year. I have really enjoyed this site, I'm learning a lot from you guys and I know I'm going to learn a whole lot more. I can use all the help.I also learned why many sew, it's so relaxing. I really enjoy it. Thanks for the pretty pictures. I'm only sorry I didn't take pictures of my quilts I've done and given away. Smiles
