Hi from Reading, PA. My best friend is a male quilter, we brain storm together, solve each others problems! Dive in and have a ball- just drop the feed, put a free motion foot on the machine and let her rip-let your hands control what you want to say. And, I haven't figured out how to post a picture either, and I finished 3 quilts recently.

Find your local quilting store and take classes. Join the local guild. It is amazing how much you will learn!
Your quilts are great. But I would love to see you use brighter colors!

Well the first thing I can say, after HELLO, is go to quilterscache.com for blocks and lovely instructions, AND don't start out with a project that is too large. You don't want to get frustrated.

Maybe do a search of wallhangings here and see what folks have done.

    Have fun

We have a few men here already.. Heh, my grandfather and my husband's grandfather both helped quilt.
My grand uncle also needle pointed to keep his surgeon's hands in good shape ! ( bone doctor)...
Good luck.. no handicap here.. maybe just a newbee.. this is a terriffic site for any newbee.. no question is a bad or "dumb" question.. everyone will happily answer !
Good luck ! oh and don't buy a bunch of book either.. the web has a bunch of free informaiton and videios for free..

Have a lot of fun !! enjoy what we have since our days in sewing class vs your days in shop ! lol
