Hi, Holly--Welcome from California! As for starting a stash, it's easy: you walk into a fabric store, your hands start to itch, and pretty soon all these lovely little fabrics are piling up in your arms. You're on your way!

Welcome from Las Vegas! That's how I got hooked too...one class and now 3 years and 19 quilts later, I still can't get enough. You're in good company here on this board. Tons of inspiration, pretty pictures and touching and funny stories. I wouldn't get in too big of a hurry to build a stash, although we are all different. I ended up with more fabric than I know what to do with in the near future and my taste has totally changed since I started.

Greetings and welcome from New Hampshire
LQS is local quilt store/shop

Stash Building happens over time.
If I needed to get a quick start I'd shop online for sale fabric.
Send me thru a PM your e-mail address (DO NOT PUT IT UP HERE) and I'll send you a list.

Hi Holly, and welcome. LQS stands for your Local Quilt Store. Maybe it is the same place where you took your introduction class.
