Welcome. I am in Mississippi now, but will be moving to Ramstein AFB in Germany in June. Any tips for a German newcomer?

Welcome to the forum! I did a study abroad in Duisburg, northern Germany about 10 years ago. At the age of 40 I decided to finish my college degree in German so returned to school and hence the trip to Germany. It is truly a beautiful country. Where do you live?

I live in the northernmost federal state of Germany called Schleswig-Holstein, in a little village - it is about 30 miles northeast from Hamburg.

I didn't make it that far north, but I loved Berlin and Konn. (sorry, no umlaut on my computer!) :-D

Welcome. I lived in Waldtrudering - a village on the east side of Munchen from '69 to '72 = loved it and didn't want to leave. Yes, it's a beautiful country.
