Albany is about 2 1/2 hours from us. Conklin is about 5 miles from the PA line and is the last exit off Rte 81S before going into Penna. We are right next to Binghamton.

Johnnie's girl, do you ever get to Lancaster? We make about 3 trips a year to the quilt shops there. Quilt shop quality fabric at 1/2 the price of what we pay here. Several of us go down and load up the car. I do however, support my LQS. Don't want them to go out of business.

I've been to Lancaster, PA several times, but not for fabric. I'm new to quilting, only started last spring, so from what I hear, I really should check out the fabric there.

We should all try to arrange some kind of retreat in the Upper New York area - somewhere that would be possible for the Canadians to attend
