It has been very cold here. BRR! My daughter's FIL passed away this week and so things have been a little hectic here. I did manage to squeeze in some quilting time.
I hope all are well and stitching away!
    Hugs, Ruth

Hi from WNY. I'm at exit 30 on Rt. 86. Glad we're going to miss the big snow this weekend. I want to go fabric shopping at Material Rewards in Dansville. 25% off because of Super Bowl Sunday. This year it's a 3 day sale. I'd be willing to go north to get together. My brother is in Stillwater, NY and a niece in Fair Haven, VT.

Teresa, I have been to Reading many times. We make three or 4 trips a year to Lancaster for all the quilt shops. I would be in trouble if I lived as close as you do!

Countrymaid, I am not to far from Stillwater. I used to go through Fair Haven when we had our camper in VT on Lake Champlain.
Our LQS is having a big fabric sale for Super Bowl Sunday also. I plan on being there when the doors open It is 10 minutes from my house. I am blessed!

Phew! We missed another storm. Got a few snowflakes, that is all. It is going to get windy here in Albany, NY. Cold too! We cannot complain!

    Countrymaid,

Did you get to the sale on SBS at Material Rewards? That is one of my all time favorite stores. I stop every time I go through Dansville, which is pretty often. You are lucky to live closer to it!

I did go. I went by myself and didn't know anyone there. I spent more than I should have but enough to make me very happy. It was cold and windy but blue skies and clear. I don't go there very often, it's not in a direction I usually travel. I do go to Hornell some to Aldi's and Wal-Mart. The Wal-Mart still has a very nice collection of fabric and craft items. I did get my machine set up on Sunday but am so busy haven't taken time to sit and sew as yet. But I have lots of ideas buzzing in my head.
