PG - what an adorable holder! Can you attach the pattern! I agree with Boo, your work is wonderful. Lisa

I'll try. I gave the basic instructions to someone yesterday thinking I was giving to everyone, but I looked today and they were not there. Basically you cut your felt 5 1/2" wide by 6 1/2 inches. Attach your applique close to the right side of the material right side up. Blanket stitch around the applique. (I made a shorter stitch for a different look.) After you have stitched around the applique then fold with the applique on top and blanket stitch the long side and bottom. I round my corners and blanket stitch around the top. Actually I start at the back of the right side to do the opening and go around the top to the right side again then stitch the top together about 1/4" from the edge then continue on down. I have made a white one with holly, a green one with a snowman and would like to do an angel but cannot find one I like. I can scan my patterns for the snowman, star, tree, and holly. You can also visit the web-site FamilyFun.com and download the freeapplique for trees and snowman.
Let me know what else you need. PJ

Oh yeah, one more thing I added the little hook and button because I want to hang a pair of reading glasses in my sewing room so I will always have a pair there.
