Hi, I am about two hours from Tamaqua, but do know where it is. We go up to Eagle Rock with friends a couple times a year. Are you working on any quilting projects? I just finished a 'cheater' quilt - I love doing the hand quilting! It is a twelve days of Christmas, country style - got it on E-Bay! Take care, char

Hey Tamaqua- I know where that is- been to closings there and car shows.

Eagle Rock- I know that place very well too- been there many times.

I am about 45 min. north of Hazleton- off the Wilkes-Barre exit of I81 and keep going. :)

Are there any good quilt shops near you? Where do you like to shop for fabric?

Welcome to the site- you'll LOVE it here!

HI - I have been getting some material at Generations Quilting in Pottstown, Country Quiltworks in North Wales, or if I want some NOW, just go to JoAnns! Where do you get your material?

Thanks for the warm welcome! I take lessons and shop at a new quilt shop in Tamaqua on Broad St( our main street). It's called Carolyn's Quilt Shop she has a web site . It's a nice shop with beautiful fabric(moda, thimbleberries) and nice classes.
She is a friend of mine so check her out if your in the area.
I also go to Joanne's in Allentown but I rather Carolyn's.
Thanks again for welcoming me to a very nice group.
