Thank you to all. As soon as I learn how to navigate this web site and get a digital camera I will take some pictures and most definitely try to send them to all of you

Welcome from the High Desert in California. Are you in deep snow right now?

Welcome from Montana. I just returned from my first trip to Ohio. My daughter is looking at Kent State University and we spent last Sunday & Monday in Akron & Kent. Lots of snow, but she sure liked it there. I have a feeling I will be driving her out there for college this August! So I will have time to visit a quilt shop or 5 or 6 on my way home!!! Maybe you can give me some good ideas on where to go!

Marlys, Thank you. My daughter graduated from KSU in Dec. '96 with a BS in special ed. She commuted - we live less than an hour away. She teaches the Deaf/Hearing Impaired. There used to be a couple of stores in Hartville (town over from Kent & a great restaurant there - Hartville Kitchen - you have to go there) but I don't know if they are still there but JoAnn Fabric's headquarter's aren't too far from Kent. Good Luck
