Hi Jan ~ Welcome from a central New Yorker (Fayetteville area). This is a wonderful connection for any quilter ...... from novice to expert. There's wealth of experience and creativity here and everyone is so friendly and anxious to help out a fellow quilter. Enjoy!

I go by wolfkitty. I do a lot of crochet, but I like to quilt too. I have a completed top piece that I was hoping to find assistance to learn to hand quilt. I made a trial lap quilt that is okay, but I'm sure there are some techniques that would be very helpful that I don't know about. I sounds like there are many experienced quilters here. Do any quilt by hand? Or does everyone do machine quilting? I have several quilt tops started that I would probably machine quilt, but I want to do this on Grandmother's Flower garden variation (enlarged) by hand. The rest is all hand done. Can anyone help?
