Hello back from the Pacific Northwest/Seattle area. Until recently I've spent most of the last 30 years sewing on a vintage machine and although I don't have a Featherweight I have a nice little 301. Hi and welcome from North Carolina! A hundred years ago, when I was a mere teenager, I bought a Singer Featherweight and loved it, but in a moment of utter stupidity, I traded it in on a machine that had "zig-zag" and one or two new-fangled stitches. What a tragic mistake!! I think about that wonderful little Featherweight often. ... with tears of grief!
I envy y'all that have them.

Welcome aboard! I have been here a long time but fell inactive for a while. I have a number of sewing machines. To complete my collection of machines a feather weight would complete it. So I am looking. Someday I will find one. I am in no rush and of course the price would have to be just right.
