    I would be bored to death to make them all alike, so definitely make them all a bit different. Good luck - sounds like WAAAY more work than I'd want to commit to. :-D

    HI from Eastern Washington. Wow you got quite the projects on your hands. Nice of you to do that. I'd go all different quilts.
    Doing 29 of the same would get boring. Can't wait to see pictures. Have fun. :thumbup:

    What a wonderful project! That is quite an undertaking but one that will bring incredible joy to your mother-in-law, the recipients of your wonderful quilts AND you! Great fun :-)

    Since you want to make them like"grandma would've made them" I would make quilts that are to be used and use traditional patterns also make them all different.
