I am from California, between San Bernardino and Los Angeles. I've been quilting for over 20 years, Machine that is. I love Sunbonnet Sue and Grandmothers fan and traditional blocks. I am happily married and have one dog at home. I belong to an active quilt guild which I am the membership chairman and do the web page. I volunteer with the local library for Friends of library which I am treasurer. I went to training again today for poll worker training which next Tues is special voting on some propositions in Ca. Look forward to hear from everyone. My husbands family live in St Louis and he is avid St Louis Cardinal fan. I used to live in Kansas City, Mo and Houston Texas. I just turned over the hill, 65, LOL Quilted hugs, Mary in CA :P

Welcome from LA County California. Are you going to the Antelope Valley Quilt Show and or the Northridge Quilt Show? Both are this coming weekend. I hope to go to both, but definitely the Antelope Valley Show.

Welcome Mary, I am another Californian, live just north of Temecula in southern CA. Where are you located? Looking forward to the second International Quilt Show in Long Beach in July, are you going? I went last year and it was awesome. Also the Road to California show in Ontario, CA in January. My guild is the only guild allowed to go after the show closes on Monday to pack out all the quilts so we get to see and touch (with gloved hands of course) all the quilts that were in the show. We have so much fun and their gift to us for doing that is free admittance to the show and a bag of quilting goodies along with a year pin tag to add to our R to C pin. I hope you are close to LA and can make it to one of these shows at least. DH is taking me to the outdoor Quilt Show in Sisters, Or in July this year also. Can't wait, meeting my cousin there from Hawaii.
