Welcome! You will learn so much from the wonderful and talented quilters here.
I also am a Hoosier. I live in Valparaiso now. But, grew up in Indy.
Remember, if you have any questions or need suggestions, just ask.
I am always amazed how fast these ladies & gentlemen can come up with the answers to the seeminly impossible questions.

O.K. All of you Indiana quilters, did any of you go to Marion, IN in July and see the quilt displays or take classes at THE QUILTER'S HALL OF FAME? We have a great place to meet quilters and a lot of history in Marie Webster's home there. I did and enjoyed it a lot. I plan to go again next year and take more classes and lectures. I even took a class from Kathlene Tracy, and who would be there in the class too, but Eleanor Burnes!

Quilters' Hall of Fame..... You can google it and find out more about it. They have different displays of quilts there, and a room about Marie Webster. Her history is very interesting. She didn't start her business until late in life. Her name can also be googled, but information about her will come up with the HoF information. Check it out if you like, and let me know what you think. Janis

You are so welcome! :) Sometimes we don't know what is in our own backyard (state). I think it's neat. I liked finding out that 2 women decided that quilters needed to be recognized and started The Quilters' Hall of Fame in a BASEMENT !!!! for want of an official place to put it. Thanks to them for starting it, we all can appreciate quilters from the past and present and they can be recognized for their accomplishments.
After all we quilters know that a quilt is NOT JUST A QUILT!!!!! :D
