Welcome from Alberta, Canada. What everyone here has said about FW is so true. I want one so badly that my son is trying to find me one for Christmas.

They're wonderful machines. Like the others have said here, they're usually trouble free, easy to carry machines. I love mine but seldom get to use it like I'd like to. I don't consider mine a status symbol but I do consider myself lucky to have one. Guess you could say I'm a 'machine collector"! And I love all my machines. The featherweights are great for classes, don't take up much room & are easy to tote.

And if you decide you don't want it, I'll be glad to give you my address ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Hello and welcome from Germany :). Unfortunately, the featherweight my grandma used to sew with is gone. Someone just got rid of it, when I was still a child. Have to search for another one, I guess.
