Hi, everyone-my sister-in-law (Sharoney) turned me on to this forum, as she's got me into quilting (technically piecing) again. I did it in high school before rotary cutters, mats and all the good stuff that makes it easy and fun. Sharoney does amazing work, and she has so many she wants to do that I think she got tired of making ones for me. So she said why don't I make a top and she's quilt it for me? It seemed impossible, I haven't really sewn since high school, but I'm working on one. I'm a traditionalist when it comes to quilts, but this one is wild. Now I'm addicted, have the material for the next 4 quilts already bought. I just bought this machine (my third) for $25 with the cabinet, and may buy a treadle today.

wow, for someone that has not sewn for 25 yrs. you are doing a wonderful job of matching up your seams in your quilt. Impressive. The fabric choices are great. Glad you are back into quilting and on board. Like the Singer too.
