    I learned on my own but it is so much more fun to share with others who have a similar interest. I lived in MN for 60 years and there are great quilt shops and guilds all over the place. Venture into a real quilt shop, they will get you headed into the right direction! Enjoy.

    Hello and welcome from Ontario. Making some test blocks and then making them into small projects is a great way to start. Pot holders, placemats, small table runners all allow you to try different blocks and methods.
