Thanks!! Instead of using paypal, I used my CC which expires in 3 months... Won't have to worry about automatic renewal.

I was able to turn off the automatic renewal right after I used my credit card last night. I'll still get all six issues that I have paid for this year. They will have to send me a renewal notice that I'll have to pay for in August 2019.
