What section of the store did you find them?

I was in a strange store meaning not my usual dollar general, they were on an end cap close to the laundry aisle. That's about all the sewing supplies they carry, what will fit on that rack at the end. I just luckily ran across them.

People might also want to try Big Lots for sewing/quilting finds - I found an acrylic 6" square ruler there for $1.99, along with assorted fat quarters for .99. Great find on the scissors!

Nice find! They look like they would be good for cutting the seams on rag quilts. I may have to visit our dollar stores and see if i can find them.

I love these and they last longer than your 2$'s worth. I have several pairs. They are really good for cutting up whole chickens-and safer for me. I keep them in all my tool bags and boxes. All 3 GDs have a set in their activity boxes. And they cut the heaviest upholstery fabrics and through the seams on jeans like a hot knife through butter. Did I say I love these scissors : )
