Geri, if you or anyone else finds it, please let me know. It is so superior to The New Hexagon. Just beautiful. I will keep looking. Thank you.

I am kind of interested, I think.....the original millefiori quilts book by Willyne Hammerstein was out of print, I understand, but is being reprinted, and really hard to find..... This QAL is not the same... This is based on Katja's book...THE NEW HEXAGON...designed from hexies in it.....I think I will try the first one...just to see if I really want to go crazy!
Thanks sooo much for this info! I had no idea and I like to pp hexies. I signed up for the QA BOM. excited to get started!

I googled the author's name & found the book at www.Linapatchwork.com . It might be www.Linaspatchwork.com. The price is in pounds, so it must be England or Australia. Good luck.

You can also order it from the publisher Quiltmania: http://www.quiltmania.com/product/L/...i-quilts-.html. The price is in Euros. It looks like it costs about $42 US, but it doesn't include shipping. It is a beautiful book.

Geri, PaperPieces.com has the Millifiore Quilts book by Willyne Hammerstein. La Passacaglia is the name of the most popular quilt in that book. This quilt is based on pentagons, not hexagons. It looks really hard, but it isn't The hard part is deciding which fabric & what to fussy cut!!! I am making Katja Marek's Mille-fiore quilt, but reduced the hexies to 1.5" as 3" are just too big.

I have been busy making Dear Prudence with 5/16" hexies. I've got about 6745 hexies in it so far & will have over 27,000 when finished. Here is a pic of it.
